- 150g Sugar or Xylitol
- x 2 Large Eggs
- x 2 t Apricot Jam
- 200g Self Raising Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- 3 tbsp.Butter (melted)
- 250ml Milk
- pinch of salt
Beat sugar, eggs and apricot jam together.
Add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
Mix butter and milk in, do not over mix it will lose its rising-ness
Bake the mixture at 180”degrees for 30 minutes.
While you are waiting for the Malva pudding prepare your sauce
180g Sugar or Xylitol
2 tsp. Vanilla Essence
200ml milk evaporated (can)
3 tsp. Butter
Mix all the ingredients in a pan until everything is melted, when Malva Pudding is ready
pour hot sauce over, the sauce will soak into the hot malva pudding.
Enjoy with Ice Cream or Cream and Custard.
